Dear Longport Neighbors and Friends,
For years, the owners of Costa Videre and Seaview Condominiums — together with many Longport residents — shared a simple dream: to transform the long-unused parcel of land between 15th and 16th Avenues on Beach Terrace Road into something beautiful, peaceful, and meaningful for our community.
We envisioned a natural sanctuary by the beach — a place for mindfulness, meditation, rest, and reflection. A space that extends the beauty of Longport and offers residents and visitors a quiet retreat just steps from the ocean.

Thanks to the support of Mayor Patrick Armstrong, the Longport Commissioners, and countless neighbors, that dream is now taking shape.
The Borough owns the land, and the Beach Terrace Park organization will manage and maintain the new park.
This has truly been a grassroots effort. Since beginning our fundraising in Spring 2025, we have raised $140,000 in donations and pledges. These contributions have already funded major progress, including grading, fencing, path paving, installation of a sprinkler system, and electric and water service.
In June, we expect to install path lighting, plantings and shrubs from Lloyd Landscaping, and new benches and chairs. A highlight of the park will be a Zen Garden at the south end — a serene focal point for quiet reflection.
We hope to celebrate with a dedication ceremony on July 4th at 10 AM, joined by the Mayor, Commissioners, and community members.

To complete this project and bring Beach Terrace Park fully to life, we need to raise an additional $75,000. Your support will help create a green space unlike any other in Longport — a peaceful, restorative environment for generations to enjoy.
