There is a strip of land on Beach Terrace between 15 th and 16 th Avenues that has been desolate for a long time.
Residents of Longport Seaview and Costa Videre formed a committee and a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization, Beach Terrace Park Inc, and completed a license agreement with the Borough of Longport to transform this land into a beach front park with colorful flowers, grassy areas to rest on a blanket, a pathway with pavers to enjoy a morning stroll through the park, and benches to relax and reflect.
The park will greatly increase the beauty of our neighborhood and be a welcoming place for residents and visitors who run, jog, walk, and ride their bicycles along Beach Terrace.
The cost to construct the park is $175,000. To date, we have raised $60,000. We hope to start construction in mid-September. Can you help us meet the goal with a contribution?
The park cannot become a reality except through contributions from members of our community. If you are a seasonal resident, you will come back and see the vacant lot transformed into a beautiful park when you return in Summer, 2026!
